Hail Damage Insurance

Have any questions?

Common questions about Insurance and Roof claims

If I think that I have hail damage, should I file a claim?

Wait, have us go up on your roof and confirm that there is enough hail damage to justify a claim. We will do a free inspection that will include a full report for the insurance company. When you do file a claim, we will be at your house when the adjuster comes, so that we can show them the damage. This makes a big difference.

Does a hail claim make my insurance rates go up?

When you get a new roof, you get a big “new roof discount” on your homeowners insurance. This can actually be a big discount. Insurance companies raise premiums when there are claims…but most companies actually don’t raise premiums for hail claims. You will have to ask your agent to confirm.

After a hail storm, do I have a limited amount of time to file a claim?

Yes, many homeowners insurance companies in Colorado are now giving you a one year time limit after a storm to file a claim. If you think that you have hail damage, call us right away!
